Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher’s love for his hometown Reds and rival Manchester United is evident in his lineup.
Carragher made his picks for the English Premier League (EPL) Players of the Season on Nov. 23 (local time) in the British publication The Mirror.스포츠토토
Elling Holland (Manchester City), Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur), and Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) led the way in the front three. Kevin De Bruyne, Rodriguez (both Manchester City), and Martin Ødegaard (Arsenal) were chosen for the midfield.
The back four was Oleksandr Zinchenko (Arsenal)-Jubeng Dias (Manchester City)-Sven Botman-Kieran Trippier (Newcastle United). Goalkeeper was Alisson Becker (Liverpool).
Most noticeable is the absence of players from current fourth-place United. Marcus Rashford, the best performer of the second half, and David de Gea, who kept the most clean sheets in the league, are not on the list. There are also two players from his hometown club, Liverpool.
There is only one fourth-place ticket left for next season’s UEFA Champions League (UCL). United currently hold a three-point lead and need only to draw one of their remaining two games to claim it.
