MLB has launched an investigation into domestic violence allegations against Chicago White Sox right-hander Mike Clevinger.

Reuters and the New York Post reported that Clevinger was accused of domestic violence and child abuse, citing The Athletic, a sports media outlet.

His wife, Olivia Feinstead, claimed that Clevinger assaulted her long ago and abused her, including throwing cigarettes at her now 10-month-old child.

Feinsted wrote in her social media post, “(Clevinger) you must go to hell.”

The White Sox signed Clevinger to a one-year, $8 million contract last December.
